Queyras Bike Adventure
a 6 days point to point bike journey
On this 6 days point 2 point enduro adventure, you'll discover le Queyras; a protected mountain area on the border of France and Italy. We dare to say that mountain biking options here are world class and the mountains and trails seem to be crafted for mountain bikes. Think of flowy singletracks with some techy sections in it, ridable peaks up to 3000 meter, beautifull larch tree forests with bouncy trails, a stunning (autumn) scenery and friendly sleeping spots in authentic mountain villages. Come and join us in mountain bike heaven?!

The riding
Le Queyras is a protected 'Parc regional', aiming for substainability and authenticity. You will find a stunning scenery, with a big variation in geology and authentic mountain villages far from the mass tourism. There are no ski lifts to be used, there could be an occassional uplift to gain some height, but mostly you are relying on good old legpower. Every day we climb between 1000 and 1500m, by roads, 4x4 paths and singletracks. Sometimes we have to push the bike or even face a little hike a bike to reach our highest point. The rewards are worth it though: Imagine ridable peaks up to 3000m, awesome singletracks winding through alpine meadows, flowing through larch tree forests and arriving in another nice mountain village for a beer a dinner and good night sleep.
The week
We'd like to welcome you on Sunday in the hotel in Guillestre, where we spend the first night. On Monday we start our bike adventure with an uplift from the hotel to the village of Ceillac; adventure is starting. During 6 days we will enjoy a point 2 point bike adventure around the Queyras, ticking off different cols and peaks, riding awesome trails in a stunning automn scenery.
Sleeping spot
Every night we sleep at a different location, varying from a cosy chambre d'hôte to a remote mountain hut. Dinner and breakfast are included and for lunch you can order a pack lunch or visit the local bakery (if there is one...). On Saturday we are riding back down to the valley, for a last night in a hotel to head home on Saturday.
What to bring
To enjoy this week at it's best, you need to have experience with riding alpine singletracks, you need to be fit to cover 1500m of climbing (and descending). We recommand you bringing a (full suspension) allmountain/enduro bike with 140-150mm of travel. As there is no luggage transfers involve, you need to bring a 25l backpack to carry your personal stuff for the week.
