Learn 2 Ride the Alps

A full week of progressing on alpine singletracks

Join us on this week if you want to boost your Alpine mountainbiking skills. Back home you might lack gravity and technical features or obstacles, which you will face in the Alps. To enjoy a stressless ride in the Alps, we will help you to learn some basic skills and boost your confidence. After a full day shredding amazing trails, you'll grab a beer in the garden of the comfy chalet while you wait for your freshly cooked dinner to be ready....Doesn't that sound like a dream?!

Please contact us for possibilities to organise you this biketrip on tailor made base for your own group of riders during the summer of 2024.

  • 6 days guided and coached
  • comfortable chalet
  • tasty dinners
  • 2 days hut2hut adventure

The trip

We will built up this week progressively. This means we start the week with some easier trails in the bikepark, finishing the week shredding some more techy natural trails with a smile. With bikepark les Carroz at one side of the Valley and les Portes du Soleil at the other, we can easily find you some suitable trails for the start of the week. Your guide is AlpAdventures Arno, a French qualified mountainbike guide, who speaks Dutch and English as well. Although we'll use skilifts to gain as much as downhill meters possible, you still need a bit of good old leg power on certain days.

Sleeping spot

You will stay in a comfortable chalet located the Vallée du Giffre, in or close to the village of Samoëns. You usually share a room with one of your travel mates. Every morning you start the day with a tasty breakfast and you finish the day with a 'Dailycieux' dinner, freshly prepped by AlpAdventures chef Jessica. This wouldn't be an AlpAdventure if you won't spend a night in the mountains! So during a 2 days ride in the alpine, we will arrive at a remote mountain hut with stunning views, a beer, a dinner and a bed. So guaranteed we will be the first on the trails the next morning!

Your bike

Bringing your own bike is nice, but not always the best. To enjoy the Alps comfortably and safely, we recommand a trail/all mountain or enduro bike with at least 130mm of front and rear suspension. Also make sure that is is equiped with alpine tires and big discs for loads of breaking power. Don't worry if you don't have a suitable bike, we can help you renting one (price € 250/week).
