The trip

Prepared with a backpack containing all your essential items, embark on this three-day winter adventure. Leave the civilized ski area behind as you shred down and skin up the mountain to discover a perfect spot for setting up basecamp. Under the guidance of freeride legend Serge and mountain leader Arno, you'll learn to construct a snow shelter for the night and refresh your snow-safety skills. Explore the stunning surrounding mountains, descending first tracks from faces we can spot from our basecamp. In the evenings, indulge in a mountain meal, and after a restful (or at least adventurous) night's sleep, you'll be ready for another day in the backcountry.

Note: Nice weather and (above all) visibility is key to run this adventure as described. If this is not the case, we hope you will be as flexible and resiliant as we are, to organise you a 3 days touring adventure at another location or at least another type of accommodation.

What is needed

A resilient and adventurous mindset is essential for these three days into the wild. To fully relish the riding experience, experience in off-piste terrain and freeriding skills is required, enabling you to navigate various snow conditions. While touring experience is preferred, it's not mandatory. The backcountry area offers plenty of moderately steep lines, ensuring extended rides with reduced avalanche risk. Ensure you're physically fit enough for a maximum daily ascent of 1000m. While we can provide a splitboard, touring skis, and a comprehensive snow-safety kit, we kindly request you bring your own inflatable mattress and winter sleeping bag.
